After a varied career working in travel and finance in London and France, and years of practicing meditation and yoga, Jorinda was inspired to train as a counsellor and psychotherapist after volunteering on an eating disorders helpline, and working with addiction.
She offers a gentle, non-judgemental space in which to reflect on and explore any difficulties you may be experiencing. As an integrative, relational counsellor she will work with you to understand your challenges and needs and tailor the support to your personal requirements and experiences. This may involve looking at your past and how it is still impacting your present, such as in your relationships or any unhelpful behaviours, and may include cognitive and behavioural techniques.
Jorinda has particular experience in working with eating disorders, addiction and compulsive behaviours, and bereavement, and has worked a lot with young people.
Jorinda is a qualified Counsellor with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling humanist and psychodynamic. She recently completed a Diploma in Core Process Psychotherapy Relational Mindfulness, and a Skills training certificate in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and works to their ethical guidelines.
Please call or email Jorinda to set up an initial session to talk about what you hope to get from counselling and how it could work. If you decide to continue you would then arrange to meet weekly, ideally at a regular time.

Petra graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) in 2014, gaining a Masters in Osteopathy. Whilst studying for her Master’s degree, she qualified as a massage therapist. As part of her studies, she also undertook training in the OsteoMAP programme, an NHS funded initiative developed by the BSO, which combines mindfulness and osteopathy for people suffering from chronic pain.
After her graduation, Petra worked in Nepal providing osteopathic treatment to local communities, treating a wide range of conditions from acute musculoskeletal injuries of farm workers to supporting the recovery of stroke patients and providing osteopathic treatment in a shelter for vulnerable women.
Petra has completed a two-year post-graduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy with the Osteopathic Centre for Children, and is currently studying with the Molinari Institute of Health for the Diploma in Women’s Health.
In her free time, Petra loves swimming, yoga and meditation, going for long walks, rediscovering London’s hidden beauties and visiting exhibitions, galleries and the theatre.

Unfortunately we are no longer able to offer any other complementary therapies, but we can whole heartedly recommend the following practitioners that we have worked with in the past.
Liz started practicing yoga when she suffered from lower back pain 19 years ago and has never had problems with her back since. She stuck with yoga as a regular form of exercise, not because she's particularly fit, flexible, sporty or interested in maintaining a particular body shape, but because it has always improved her mood.
After time on the yoga mat she always feels better, more relaxed and at ease than at the start of a session. This is why she finally took the step of training to be a yoga teacher. Please come and join Liz if you would like to pause for breath in your busy life and would like to increase your flexibility and iron out any specific niggles you may have. Ability to bend into pretzel shapes and touch your toes are not a requirement. Her one to one or two to one classes can be arranged directly with Liz; and classes are tailor made, so from beginners to advanced are catered for.

Liz also runs larger yoga classes locally in Bermondsey. Check out her 'Make it to the Mat' website here too.
